# Privacy Policy

This privacy policy sets out how **Echo Secure AI Limited (Echo Secure)** uses and protects any information that you give **Echo Secure** when you use this website.

**Echo Secure** is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

**Echo Secure** may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from the 28th March 2025.

**What we collect**

We may collect the following information:

Contact information including email address upon form or chat submission.

Demographic information.

**What we do with information we gather**

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

Internal record keeping.

We may use the information to improve our products and services.

We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided upon form/chat submission.

**Security**

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

**How we use cookies**

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use three kinds, and you can change your choice at any time from the **Cookie settings** link at the bottom of every page.

**Necessary.** One cookie, echo\_consent, remembers your cookie choices for six months. The site needs it, so it is always on.

**Statistics.** We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read, so we can improve the site. If your device is set to UK time, statistics run unless you switch them off. Elsewhere, they stay off until you allow them. Google acts as our processor and only uses the data on our instructions. We have switched off Google’s advertising features, Google signals and data sharing, and we record location only to country and region level. We look at totals, never at individual visitors. Google keeps the detailed records for two months. Google Analytics sets the \_ga and \_ga\_ cookies, which last up to two years. Switching Statistics off in Cookie settings stops Google Analytics from loading.

**Marketing.** The Pipedrive chat and HubSpot tracking can link your visits to an enquiry you send us. They stay off unless you choose to accept them.

**Links to other websites**

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.

**Controlling your personal information**

You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information in the following ways:

whenever you are asked to fill in a form on the website, look for the box that you can click to indicate that you do not want the information to be used by anybody for direct marketing purposes

if you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, you may change your mind at any time by writing to or emailing us at [hello@echosecure.co.uk](mailto:hello@echosecure.co.uk)

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen.

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under UK data protection law. If you would like a copy of the information held on you please write to Data Controller, Echo Secure AI Limited, 86 - 90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE

### Business contacts we have not met yet

This section explains how Echo Secure AI Limited (company number 16320764, 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE) uses the details of people we contact about our services. Questions about it can go to [hello@echosecure.co.uk](mailto:hello@echosecure.co.uk).

We sometimes email people at other organisations about our penetration testing and security testing services. We only contact people whose job makes our services relevant to them, such as a head of information security, a security manager or a head of IT.

#### What we hold

We hold your name, job title, employer and work email address, plus details of your role taken from public professional profiles. We also keep the emails we send you, any replies, and a note if you've asked us not to contact you. We don't use your phone number for this, and we don't hold any sensitive information about you.

#### Where we got it

Your details come from business-to-business contact data providers, such as Apollo.io. These providers compile work contact details from public sources, including company websites and professional networking profiles. Before we write to you, an email verification service checks that your address works. We choose which organisations to approach based on information about the organisation, such as its sector and size, not information about you.

#### Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your details to send you a few emails about our services (no more than three unless you reply), to follow up if you do reply, and to keep a record of what was said. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: it is in our interest to tell organisations about services that are relevant to them. We have assessed this use of your work details and found it limited and in line with what someone in your role would expect. You can ask us for a copy of that assessment.

We only send these emails to people at incorporated organisations, such as limited companies, limited liability partnerships and public bodies. We don't send unsolicited marketing emails to sole traders or ordinary partnerships.

#### Who else sees it

We don't sell your details. Three companies hold them for us under contract and only use them as we instruct: Instantly, which sends our emails; Pipedrive, our customer relationship management system; and MillionVerifier, which checks email addresses. Some of them store data outside the UK. When they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, as set out in each provider's data processing agreement.

#### How long we keep it

If we don't end up working together, we delete your details 12 months after our last email or conversation. If you ask us not to contact you, we keep only your email address and the date you asked, on a "do not contact" list. That stops us emailing you again by mistake, for example if a data provider sends us your details again.

#### Your right to object, and your other rights

You can object to us using your details for marketing at any time, free of charge, and we will stop. The easiest way is to reply "no thanks" to any of our emails, or you can write to [hello@echosecure.co.uk.](mailto:hello@echosecure.co.uk.) You can also ask for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, or ask us to limit how we use them.

#### Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've used your information, please tell us first at [hello@echosecure.co.uk.](mailto:hello@echosecure.co.uk.) We'll acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and reply as soon as we can. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
