Kurtis Baron is an offensive security specialist with over a decade of experience in penetration testing, red teaming, and adversarial simulations across critical infrastructure, financial services, and public sector environments.

Kurtis's career has been defined by hands-on technical work, from exploiting web applications and internal networks to simulating advanced persistent threats against enterprise environments. His specialisms include infrastructure penetration testing, web application security assessment, social engineering, and red team operations aligned to frameworks such as:
Over the course of 200+ penetration testing engagements, he has identified critical vulnerabilities across sectors including financial services, healthcare, legal, government, and critical national infrastructure; from unauthenticated remote code execution in internet-facing applications to Active Directory privilege escalationpaths enabling full domain compromise within hours of initial access.
In 2017, Kurtis founded his own offensive security consultancy, growing it from a solo operation to a team of 30+ CREST Certified penetration testers delivering engagements across the UK. The firm built a reputation for uncovering the vulnerabilities that automated scanners and less experienced testers missed, chaining low-severity findings into critical attack paths that demonstrated real business impact.

Charlotte Baron is a results-driven operations leader with extensive experience in the cybersecurity industry, which she brings to Echo Secure as a founding partner.
In 2018, she joined Kurtis’ cybersecurity consultancy, when the company was a small but ambitious team, taking on a multifaceted role to support its rapid growth. She was a driving force behind ensuring operational excellence, optimising processes to increase efficiency and the successful delivery of cybersecurity services to clients.
Charlotte now channels her expertise in strategic planning, resource management and client relationship development to drive Echo Secure to industry-leading operational excellence.
